She said that Laura Fraser looked exactly the way she had pictured Kate, as had Billie and Blake for their respective characters. David Tennant, she agreed, is perfect for anyone :) And Jessica Atkins is a bit too blonde (for Nicole appears as a brunette in the book), but as she is the only child I have footage of with David, she'd have to do. Alright. Well. Obviously, no one knows anything about these characters, so I think I'll try to delve into them a bit. Jackson "Jack" Erskine - Jack is the son of a rather aristocratic family in Melvaig, Scotland. He's wild and freespirited and tends to bring disgrace upon his family. He is an adventurer and a treasure-hunter, some might even call him a pirate. While in London, attempting to take revenge on a man who did him wrong, he meets the beautiful Kate Choir, with whom he runs away and marries. Kate Choir- Kate is the younger daughter of a British aristocrat Agrippa Bird. Her mother died in childbirth, and her father never forgives her for it. The lyrics are so personal, so I actually think this simple arrangement with solo piano and voice works incredibly well, maybe better than the version on X&Y.
